30th October 2011: Elderly Outreach Event – St Theresa’s Home for the Aged
This annual outreach event started off with the celebration of Mass at their Chapel with the residents. A bus was chartered to bring about 30 elderly citizens and helpers together with members, associates and spouses to a steamboat lunch at T-One Restaurant at Thomson Road. We were blessed with sunny weather on that day.
We then proceeded to the Zoological Gardens at Mandai. We helped to wheel the residents in their wheelchairs as we stroll through the Gardens and watched the ‘Rain Forest’ animal show. The outing was supported by contributions from members and friends.
